Common webinar with other COST actions

...that brings together some of the most dynamic COST Actions currently working across Europe on resilience, sustainability and circularity. On 15 January 2026, we will organise “Interdisciplinary Pathways for a Resilient and Circular Europe: Insights from COST Actions”, a session designed to explore how different scientific fields, policy communities and societal actors can jointly shape Europe’s transition.

During this 1 hour and 45-minute event, five COST Actions will share their experiences, methods and emerging findings. These Actions—SHIFT, TRANSFORMERS, CLIMENT, WATER4REUSE and LIAISE—are each tackling a different facet of Europe’s resilience challenge: from social transformations and climate adaptation to mental health impacts, sustainable water reuse, and circular industrial cooperation. Together, they offer a unique window into how interdisciplinary collaboration can generate practical knowledge and new pathways for action.

The session will begin with short showcases from each Action, providing a concise overview of their purpose, achievements and contributions to resilience and circularity. This will be followed by a facilitated dialogue among the Actions, where they will reflect collectively on synergies, challenges and opportunities for joint work. To enrich this shared reflection, we will invite the audience to take part in a short live poll, helping us capture perspectives from across sectors and regions.
